MELBOURNE, JUNE 20TH 2014 –Emily Green and Dale Hardiman launch their collaborative project Up Up at Melbourne store Dagmar Rousset in Collingwood Melbourne. Running 20 June to 4 July the opening exhibition will feature Green and Hardiman’s debut collection of Up Up lights entitled Marmo.
The Up Up light will be a range of styles that changes / is built upon over time beginning with the Marmo collection that features marbled clay beads in monochromatic pastel toned colourways paired with porcelain, spun copper and neutral toned aluminium hoods.
Hardiman designed the hood for the lights and materials were selected for it that would compliment the first range of beads. All of the elements of the lights are locally manufactured- the aluminium and copper hoods are spun in Lilydale, the porcelain hoods have been hand thrown in Kilsyth and the polymer clay beads are all hand-made in Green’s Northcote studio.

The Up Up Lights were featured on The Design Files. Read more here
